After college and graduate school I moved to my dream city. I got a master’s degree in music and moved to my dream city Austin, Texas. I absolutely love it and have lived here for the last four years. Recently, I decided that I was definitely going to stay. My parents suggested I look into buying a home. People exchange their precious time with families to work in the office and endure office politics in order to earn a decent income so that they can put bread on the table to feed their dependents, children and loved ones. Jobs did not give a reason for his resignation but apparently it must be due to his health problems. Today is a public holiday to celebrate Hari Raya after a month of fasting during the Ramadhan month. It is like the new year to the Muslims. For many people, it is a time to rest at home and to recuperate from all the working activities in the last few busy weeks. My youngest sister is now in China and will visit Hangchou for holidays. I just came back from SOCSO to update the details of our workers to delete the names of those who have left the company and to add new ones for the staff who just joined the small company. Anyway, I think I really need a good break from working and am considering going to Europe for holidays and dine in amsterdam restaurants. Not only that, I might just go to a museum and see art Amsterdam or art in Amsterdam. I have never been to Europe and would love to visit this amazing place before I retire. I have the financial means to go but no good company to follow me along. It is not fun travelling alone or go for a group tour alone. You can get bullied by other people which gives you the unnecessary stress and pressure.

I have been to China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, USA, Thailand, Indonesia and Japan. These are mostly Asian countries with different culture and lifestyle. That is the motivation for working hard – to save up enough money for travelling.

The Eurozone may experience recession next year and the economy in USA is not doing any better.

Despite all these problems, President Obama went for a well deserved holiday in Martha’s Vineyard to seek solace from all the world’s problems. After all he is the commander-in-chief, so he gets to choose his own holidays and where to go. China has its problems of trade surplus with USA and bought up a lot of treasury bonds in US dollars to mitigate this issue. Life for us normal people continues as per normal, whether there is recession or not for next year. Work has to be done, money has to be earned the honest and diligent way so that we can put bread on the table for our families and support our aged retired parents.
