I have designed a 9-hole indoor mini golf course in Bukit Merah a few years ago using Autocad. My company fabricate each module using synthetic turf and wood. We started off well but in the end, did not collect any payment since it was the staff at Bukit Merah who man the mini golf. There is a possibility that he might pocket the money himself. And in the end, my boss lost money in the venture because of his costs to fabricate all the 9 modules, transports and workmen to install the mini golf course. Plus lots of time spent to make it look good. That was in the past.

But anyway, there is a web site known as www.48hourteetimes.com where you can book 24 hours through the web site for your golf teeing at premier golf courses like Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Sunset Beach, Pawleys Island or elsewhere in the Myrtle Beach area within 48 hours – hence the name sake. 48 hour tee times allows you to book online using your credit card using a safe and secure payment gateway for your enjoyable tee times in USA.

When you are travelling with friends and are avid golfers, this site is a win-win basis for both players and the company. You can make your last minute booking all using the keypad or the mouse. The internet has make technology accessible to all around the world with only a computer and internet connectivity. And that is why online businesses are able to florish if the correct niche is chosen.

That’s me para-sailing in Pattaya. The tour guide took this shot for me. It was like clock work with the para-sailing guides lifting one tourist after another.

Landed safely and got rid of the parasailing gear. It was some experience being lifted up to the skies and viewing the seas below. See the queue on my right side waiting to be lifted up in motor boats.

Pattaya has very beautiful unpolluted blue seas and long stretch of white fine sands on the beaches. It is a tourists’ haven. See how many speed boats there are here. I also went for a speed boat ride with my youngest sister with a guide behind us showing how to use the speed boat.

Came back after sea walking (in earlier post) to the white sandy beaches, all wet but very satisfied participating in the many water activities.

In Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. See the sculpted hedges, trees and gardens.

Long almost-langciau-like cacti in the background. Beware, this prick will be ouch! Got the red collared shirt from China with Beijing Olympics 2008 logo in August 2007. It complements the green background and stands out clearly in all my photos.

Big round cacti. This time you don’t see them in little small plastic pots.

A different desert plant. This one is rather spikey like a Christmas tree.

With my youngest sister in sunglasses. Notice how vast the gardens are.

We stayed in 4-star Prince Palace Hotel in Bangkok. Here is a view of the room with intricate wall paper design and cosy beds. The clothes wholesaler are located around this hotel. So, if you want to buy clothes at wholesale price, you know where to get next time.

This is a very cosy ambience of Prince Palace Hotel that I took in the evening when the chandeliers are lighted up.

Behind me is the Wat Arun temple in Bangkok. For only 50 bahts (5 ringgit) per person, you can rent costume of various colors to snap with Wat Arun. Here is yours truly in Bangkok. :)

My youngest sister in blue and me in pink. This is the national Thai costume.

You will never be short of ideas of what to do in Bangkok. You can go for an elephant ride. Ouch, my bottom hurts…. The ride took about 10 minutes balancing the seat on the elephant’s back, but good for a lifetime experience.

Or go for a horse ride with a cart. Less bumpy than the elephant ride.

Or see dolphine show in Safari World.

Take photo of the beluga in Safari World.

Go to the loo to relieve ourselves. See how colorful the doors are!

Next on the item is Thai kick boxing or muay Thai as part of the cultural show. More photos next post!

Just watch the video above of a funny elephant massage on the lying man’s private parts. The elephants are revered animals in Thailand and have been trained to paint trees and flowers, carry tourists on their backs, do a bicycle ride, play soccer, play basketball, bowling and almost just anything that humans can do. Here is a recorded video in Nong Nooch Tropical Garden from my trip to Pattaya recently.

Here is a undersea photo of me doing sea walking and exploration. Sea Walker is offered only in 3 countries, namely USA, Japan and Thailand. As you go down to the sea from the deck, they put a mask fed with oxygen over your head and once that is put in place, you are lifted down about 20 feet deep to the bottom of the sea bed. It is like a lift that transports me all the way down. It is like scuba diving, but you walk on the sea instead.

For photo’s sake, I am holding an empty giant clam shell from the sea. See how big it is.

Here is the life one. Be careful not to put your fingers in the clam, otherwise it will immediately snap shut with force. I also got to feel the life corals and in fact got some mild rashes on my left hand (a small patch) after feeling the black sea urchins or the prickly ‘rambutans’ in the sea.

More beautiful corals.

With my youngest sister.

Blue Sea Diving in another side of the sea with different corals.

Watch the video here taken under the sea.

The trip to Bangkok and Pattaya was well worth the money spent. I enjoyed this vacation very much and took many photos back home.

Here are more photos taken from my collection in the computer of my recent trip to China in July and August. In this shot, the water lilies make most of the background. It was taken near a lake in Temple of Heaven.

This is taken on the steps near Temple of Heaven. There were plenty of walking to do.

The photo was taken in a public park where the general public test their skills in various exercises that requires hand-eye co-ordination.

Here is a Reliance Group photo with the Temple of Heaven in the background. Guess where I am?

This is on the lower part of the Great Wall of China where you can see more buildings. The public wash room is nearby and my dad took the liberty to snap this photo.

The ‘emperor’ and his throne. You can rent the colorful costume and have your photos taken on the grand chair of the emperor here. This will cost you a few dollars for posterity sake.

This is a giant panda napping in the zoo. Notice it put an arm over its eyes to prevent the cameras’ flashes from disturbing its sleep.

This coming July on the 30th, I will be flying off to Beijing, Chende and Tianjin for 7 days holiday with my parents. I managed to get refund of RM1,005 after my father called them up about the discrepancy in pricing. Cynthia, the tour manager for the day was like a day time crook. Reliance advertised RM1699 but I paid RM2099 per person and with airport tax, driver tips and visa, it amounted to RM2,700 per person totaling RM8,100 for 3 people. Now that I got RM1,005 back and she has nothing to say, it means I only pay RM2,365 per person. This is a relief for me. And I shall be walking on The Great Wall of China.

In my last trip to USA in 1998, I did stopover or transit in Hong Kong Airport but did not stay in any of the Hong Kong Hotels. It has been 9 years now since my last travel overseas, not counting Singapore. I guess during my trip to China with my parents with the Air Tickets, it will be a long deserved holiday for me and a break from my work and blogging. But when I come back, I am sure there will be plenty of work piled up for me and to blog again.

100mm liquid for International bound passengers
For international bound passengers though the airports in Malaysia, they are required to carry at most 100ml liquid in a clear plastic bag. This is most probably imposed after the 911 attack in New York. I guess they are scared that we carry dangerous liquid that could be used as bombs on board the flight. Since the 911 attacks, almost all the airports in Malaysia have police stationed there and the rules make it more inconvenient for the passengers. This picture was sent by my sister as my parents and I are preparing to go to China end of July for 7 days. Looks like I have to carry my cosmetics in plastic bags and not more than 100ml each. Anyway, my Clarins face cream is at most 50ml.

My plan is to visit Europe next year during the Matta fair sometime in July every year. I hope to save up enough money to travel to Europe, and see London which I have never been before. And I hope to stay in one of the London hotels and experience the Big Eye, a giant ferries wheel that allows you to see the whole of London with 360 degrees.

By the end of this month, I shall be in China with my parents, all paid for by yours truly for the 3 of us. Other than taking the Firefly flight to Kota Bahru last month, it has been a long time since I took a big plane to travel overseas. And I have heard that Reliance has upgraded the plane to 757 China Airlines to take us from Kuala Lumpur Airport to Beijing.

My two younger sisters have been to London, second sister was there for a girl guides international camp while the youngest was there for 9 months to study her final year in Mechatronics. And she is now working for one of the USA factories in Bayan Lepas. There are many hotels in London and you can scout around for the best bargain. The London hotels are easy to find and you can select one that suits your budget.

If you wish to book air flight to Shanghai, China from Penang, it cost about RM1,660 via Singapore Airlines and you can book online here at http://singaporeair.com.my. For Malaysian Airlines (MAS) from Kuala Lumpur to Shanghai, the cost is more expensive at RM1,872. You can also book online for MAS through https://www.bookonline-malaysiaairlines.com.my/. Now that you know the prices inclusive of airport tax, you know which airline to book when going to China. I had to check out the price rates as my second sister who is lecturing English in a university in Suchou plans to come to Penang on the 4th August and return on the 18th or 19th August from Penang to Shanghai. By the way Suchou does not have any airport and the nearest one is Shanghai.

There are many places of interest to see and Hawaii is one of them. When you make your trip to USA, don’t miss out Hawaii, a beautiful sprawling group of islands in the Pacific Ocean. When you are there, you can experience the culture, taste the food and smell the air. My friends have been to Hawaii before and they loved it. My classmate went there on a personal trip and another friend was an air stewardess on transit in Hawaii. Even my dad and sister have been there as well on separate occasions.

Hawaii offers many good beach rentals for accommodation and hawaii oahu vacation rental from HawaiianBeachRentals dot com is one of them. When you visit the web site, you can see many nice pictures of palm trees and sky blue seas with sandy beaches and swimming pools near the vacation rentals. There are 3 bedroom condos, apartments, beachfronts and more to suit every need and taste. Also, don’t forget to check out Hawaii Travel prior to your visit to Hawaii.
