Cryogenic means related to very low temperatures. So cyrogenic storage are equipment to store liquefied gas like liquid oxygen or nitrogen, et cetera with low temperatures. All cryogenic liquids produce large volumes of gas when they vaporize. Most cryogenic liquids are odorless, colorless and tasteless when vaporized into the gaseous state. Also most cryogenic liquids have no color except liquid oxygen, which is light blue. So, this is something that we can learn today. This would make a good science article for the school students and broaden their knowledge on this topic.

You might like to check out on cryogenic equipment by clicking on the cryogenic equipment link given here and read more about it in the following web page that loads on your browser. Not many people have heard about

I just read the business section of The Star daily newspaper which states that Malaysia is the world’s biggest exporter of rubber gloves for the last 15 years. Last year in 2010, it exported close to 100 billion pieces of rubber gloves to 180 countries. This certainly speaks volumes for the rubber glove companies. Natural latex is a local resource and is abundant here in Malaysia. There are acres of rubber plantations all over Malaysia that stretches over the many various states from north to south. The equatorial climate here is suitable for the plantation of rubber trees.

As of writing this blog post, on a more sombre mood, Gaddafi’s youngest son has been killed in a battle and buried in Libya while his only daughter who is a lawyer just gave birth to a child in Algeria. Gaddafi has been in power for far too long already, more than 40 years in politics. It is time he has to step down gracefully but he refused to do so when he had the chance. Now the UN are helping the rebels to fight to liberate the country from this dictator and give a fresh new start to the youths of Libya with many more years to live.

I always keep myself up-to-date with the current and latest news by reading subscribed newspapers at home and from buying periodicals in the bookstores. Normally I read up on finances and world news on the stock market and its ripple effects. The burgeoning fiscal deficit in USA will affect world economy as USA is one of the biggest importers of raw and processed materials around the world. China is catching up as well and is the second biggest world economy after USA.

And if you are a Malay, you might be interested in Arab News about the situation and ongoing fighting in the Gaza strip. Arab News have certainly captured world attention because it involves Israel which is God’s chosen nation. When you read Arab News, you will see the high tension there between warring parties and this also affects the world stock markets.

We have been educated to buy during bad times like recession, scandal, etc and sell during good times when the economy is doing well. Like what Warren Buffet said, ‘Be greedy when others are fearful and be fearful when others are greedy.” So, stock investment involves a lot of reading up to do, doing mathematical calculation to calculate the EPS (Earnings per Share), ROE (Return on Equity), dividend yields, etc. This, my dear friends, will take some time to digest and understand all the financial terms used in the stock market.

There is a 50% possibility that America may face the second round of recession next year and it is going to be worse than the first time recently. There will be no more bail out money or Government interception to buy Treasury bonds and help spur the economy to pre-recession times. Many of the Americans are still jobless at a rate of 9%, up from the previous figure. And for those who are employed, they are forced to take up part time job or go for long leave which means less income to the household. This does not augur well for the world which is directly affected by the USA economic situation.

China is complaining that USA is not doing enough to reverse the fiscal situation and China is the biggest holder of USA debt by buying up lots of bonds due to the export surplus of China with USA. In time to come, China will overtake USA as the world’s biggest economy and it is presently the world’s second largest economy now having overtaken Japan some time back. That is why many people will become stress out and women may be the main victims in USA. To reduce the stress, there are diets for women like lemon juice diet to cut down on the expenses. This will replace your main meal so that you don’t have to go hungry.

You can check out master cleanse reviews by surfing the link given and read up for more information. I am currently reading up a lot on financial news and going to MPH to buy books to read up and be financially educated. Look at it this way – my second sister will be doing her masters of philosophy in UK next year and later on read for her pHd which will take a total of 3 years. She is so determined, that last week, she flew to Singapore to meet up with her professors to ask for advice and to have some ideas to write her pHd thesis proposal.

In some of the programs that I have joined, I have made more than USD 250 that has been accumulated but still there is no payment supposedly on the 1st of every month. Why?? What is happening? Previously such programs pay on time every month, but apparently the staff is not diligent enough to pay me by Paypal and might do so after more money is gathered. I have been working hard blogging and writing articles and I need my money soon. Otherwise it might deter my motivation from continuing with such programes. And I have discovered recently that 2 of my government bonds are not paying me my 5% interests every quarter. If the government is not making money, I sincerely hope that I can get back my invested capital and not lose the whole amount totally.

On Saturday, I attended Multiple Sources of Income Seminar for $50 donation to National Kidney Foundation. It was just an introductory course with some teasers added to attract you. Got some reading materials and a CD to check out on with the various courses to attend. But I don’t think I am going to any of these as they are too costly for my liking. Besides, some are held in KL at a certain time and this may clash with my current job. But it was an eye opener that millionaires are created because of a change of mindset and taking action. Fione Tan was formerly one of the students of MSI before she founded eOneNet that made her a multi-millionaire now.

According to Singapore’s Minister Mentor, Malaysians Chinese are marginalized because they are wealthy and hardworking. This is the common trait of being a Chinese who tend to be more successful in whatever they pursue. The bumiputeras on the other hand expect handouts every time from the government and are lazy to work. I have personally met quite a few of them and they admitted to being lazy most of the time. How could the country progress if there is unfairness in all this? Malaysia should emulate Singapore based on meritocracy and this island state is now so successful and prosperous. The nation can never move forward with the wrong people in the government!

UMNO and Population Engineering
by Hussein Abd Hamid

Since 1957 UMNO has effectively carried out the population engineering of our country to ensure its long-term survival by creating the myth of a two pronged “Ketuanan Melayu”. “Ketuanan Melayu” for the Malay masses who are lull into a feeling of being superior over the non-Malays because of their numbers and “Ketuanan Melayu” for the UMNO Malay political elites through the accumulation of massive material wealth for themselves and their cronies. And while UMNO has failed by almost any measure you chose to gauge them – good governance or morality – without question they have succeeded too well in the engineering of the population of this country of ours.

The duplicity of UMNO in proclaiming Satu Bangsa, Satu Negara while all the while undertaking a relentless program to whittle down the numbers of the non-Malays through very precise and focused initiatives is breath taking in its effectiveness!

Consider this:

In 1957:
– 45% of the population was Chinese.
– 12% of the population was Indians.

In 2010
– 25% of the population is Chinese.
– 7% of the population is Indians.

Over 600,000 Chinese and Indian Malaysians with red IC were rejected repeatedly when applying for citizenship and possibly 60% of them had passed away due to old age.
Since 1957:

– 2 million Chinese have emigrated.
– 0.5 million Indians have also emigrated overseas.
– 3 million Indonesians migrated to Malaysia to become Malaysian citizens with Bumiputra status.

Now the non-Malays are well aware of this tinkering and engineering of our population and it would do us Malays no good to say that it was UMNO doing and that we had no hand in what happened. As a Malay I was then comfortable that UMNO was the dominant partner in the Barisan Nasional.
It was comforting to know that Malays controlled four of the five major banks.
Education? Between 1968 to 2000:

– 48 Chinese Primary Schools closed down.
– 144 Indian Primary Schools closed down.
– 2637 Malay Primary Schools were built.

Of the total government budget for these schools 2.5% were for the Chinese Primary Schools, 1% for the Indian Primary School and 96.5% for the Malay Primary School.

Petronas Petrol Stations? Of the 2000 station the Malays owned 99%.

Yes we Malays were indeed in control. In control of what?

We were in control of the all the business licenses and permits for Taxis and Approved Permits.
We were in control of Government contracts of which 95% were given to Malays.
We were in control of the Rice Trade through Bernas that bought over 80% of Chinese Rice Millers in Kedah.
We were in control of UMBC, MISC and Southern Bank – all previously owned by Chinese.
We were in control of bus companies. Throughout Malaysia MARA buses could be seen plying all the routes. Non-Malays were simply displaced by having their application for bus routes and for new buses rejected.

Every new housing estate built had a mosque or a surau. None, I repeat “no” temples or churches were built for any housing estate!

So why with control over all these highly visible entities and business opportunities are the Malays still unable to stand tall and with pride over and above the non-Malays? We are unable to so do because it was not the Malays that benefited from these opportunities – UMNO did.

Why must UMNO constantly harp about the need to spoon feed the Malays – about ketuanan Melayu when it is already in place and about Bumiputra status and all the privileges and rights that goes with that status?
And as a Malay I want to ask the non-Malays why do you still choose to live in a country whose government has by its actions and deeds done whatever it could to make you not feel welcomed? The non-Malays I know have all told me the same thing – Malaysia is their country – they know of no other country they can call their own. And so they stay and put up with the abuses.

The difference now is that there are enough Malays who are shamed by the antics of this Malay political organization called UMNO. There are enough Malays to tell the non-Malays that we feel your pain. We understand your frustrations and despair at not being treated as equals in a country you call your own. And enough non-Malays have migrated abroad to cause our country to understand that their loss is another country’s gain. A loss, which our country can ill afford to sustain.

And more importantly all this ground swell of disgust and contempt at UMNO has manifested itself in a way these political idiots understand – losing our votes in the 12th General Elections. Amen for that.

And so we wait for the 13th General Election which we hope will dish out the relevant karma for UMNO and its Barisan Nasional partners. Meantime understand what they have done to us all – not only the non-Malays but also to the Malays and do not allow Barisan Nasional to play the race card and start their divide and rule antics on us anymore.

You are one with me we are two.

My youngest sister just came back from Shanghai on Saturday last week. This week, she will be flying off to Singapore for her church’s Choice meeting where the group will be meeting there and also having a holiday as well. She is so lucky to be jetting around for her work and church activities while I stay put at home to continue blogging in my home office. Travel around while you are young before those legs become wobbly and your health start failing you. By the way, Singapore’s First Prime Minister’s wife, Kwa Geok Choo has passed away recently at the ripe old age of 89. She was mute and unable to move for the last 2+ years already. The leaves have started falling in the lives of Mr and Mrs Lee Kuan Yew.

Twin Towers architect Pelli will design two additional towers

PETALING JAYA: Cesar Pelli, the architect of the Petronas Twin Towers, will once again be casting his magic on the 100-acre Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) site in a new development that is estimated to cost about RM2bil.

Pelli is also involved in the design and architecture of retail and office block Lot C, to be completed next October. The 60-storey Lot C will be seamlessly integrated into the retail block of Suria KLCC, next to Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

In this other development on Lot 185 and Lot 167/K, the world-renowned architect will be designing two additional towers of between 50 and 70 storeys next to the Twin Towers. The two blocks, an office tower and a hotel, will sit on a four-storey podium retail block that will be integrated with the present four-storey retail mall, Suria KLCC.

Hashim Wahir, the group chief executive officer of the KLCC Group of Companies said the development, sited on three acres, would be built on two adjacent plots.

The Economic Planning Unit gave its go-ahead for the joint venture a few weeks ago, Hashim said. A detailed planning phase will be the next step and works are expected to begin by mid next year.

“Lot C has one million sq ft of commercial space. It is being developed at a cost of RM1bil. This other development on two adjacent plots will have two million sq ft of commercial space. That will indicate how much this latest development will cost,” he said.

Currently, the 100-acre KLCC development, of which half has been gazetted as the KLCC Park, has about 10 million sq ft of space in the Twin Towers, Suria KLCC, Menara Exxon Mobil, the Mandarin Oriental, Traders Hotel, the KLCC Convention Centre and Menara Maxis. All of them belong to the KLCC group of companies.

The entire KLCC area is earmarked to have between 20 million and 22 million of commercial space.

“These latest developments comprising the hotel and office tower blocks will complement and enhance the skyline. It will enhance the view for Binjai On The Park, our only residential development,” Hashim said.

He said the latest development, together with Lot C, would help give a new shopping experience to the more than four million visitors who throng the Suria KLCC. A plaza connects Suria KLCC with this new retail podium block in Lot 185 and Lot 167.

“There is a demand from retailers for space,” Hashim said.

Within the next five to seven years, other developments will be coming up behind Traders Hotel and in other parcels of land on both sides of Binjai On The Park.

“As we complete these different components that make up the KLCC development, we believe the value of Binjai On the Park will move up because new amenities and conveniences are being added.

DEMAND has been strong for Sime Darby Property Bhd’s RM1 billion Oasis Square project, the central business district of the Ara Damansara township in Selangor.

It has three 12-storey corporate office towers; five blocks of 10- to 12-storey retail outlets and office suites, called The Capital; two 10-storey serviced apartments, named Oasis Serviced Suites; and double-storey food and beverage kiosks with 15 outlets.

Managing director Datuk Tunku Putra Badlishah Tunku Annuar said the project has recorded impressive take-up rates since the launch of phases 1, 2 and 3 last year.

All the 288 shop-offices in Blocks A and B under phase one of The Capital development are sold. The take-up for Blocks C and D under phase three is 86 per cent and 93 per cent respectively.

Block E, which has some 88 units, is targeted to be launched in the last quarter of this year.

“The need for office space in prime locations is evident from the swift take-up of the business units,” Tunku Putra Badlishah said.

The serviced apartment blocks with 326 units are 99 per cent sold at between RM440 and RM503 per sq ft. They were snapped up less than a year after its launch in April and May last year.

The one-bedroom studios, two- and 2+1 bedroom units range between 572 sq ft and 1,108 sq ft.

Upcoming launches include the Oasis Corporate Park, a mixed commercial development comprising office towers, retail space, serviced apartments, a hotel and a convention centre which is still in the planning stage.

Key products in the 306ha Ara Damansara project, launched in 1999, include the 400 resort condominium units under Ara Hill, the Seri Pilmoor semi-detached houses and bungalows, and the Ara Damansara Linear City.

Sime Darby Property has sold some 3,123 mixed development units, including double-storey link-houses, double-story semi-detached houses, bungalows, low- to medium-cost apartments and high-end condominiums.
