I was checking through Innit Nuffnang and came across a blogger’s revelation of making money and receiving the 10th payment from a microworkers web site for USD36.00. Well, this web site offers micro jobs that are easy to complete like writing blog posts or signing up to get paid. The amounts are miniscule but they can add up to quite a substantial amount by the end of the month. And I am happily occupied writing and looking for more jobs from such web sites.

You get paid through Alert Pay and I have updated my new credit card details for verification. With the spare time that I have at home, I can profitably work by my computer for some allowances from the internet. Therefore, it pays to scour around the various blogs for opportunities like this.

Most millionaires have multiple sources of income and never splurge on themselves or live beyond their means. That is why they are able to save little by little to have a net worth of over a million. This includes the properties that they own, tangible and intangible assets that they may own. As for me, I have a few sources of income including blogging where I earn from PPC advertisements.

I have been blogging for several years now since late 2006. It started off as a hobby initially and then ventured into money making opportunities from advertisements. To earn money from your site, you need to have decent traffic. You need to get down to the basics of getting higher traffic like using business web directory or business listing where some are paid while others are free of charge. Traffic is key to higher earnings and you cannot neglect this factor. Hence, blogging is now very much a part of my daily activities and I post regularly even while away on a business trip.

That is because I can blog anywhere as long as I bring along my laptop with internet connectivity. While on a business trip locally, I also lug around my broadband modem with the power cable so that I can check emails anytime of the day.
Sometimes I use Social media to promote my blogs. You also need to make use of business web directories for higher exposure so that you will get more visitors to your sites and this means potentially more money into your pockets. A business web directory is a site with many listings of the various business web sites where you can go and check them out. Business web directories are useful tools to get more visitors to your websites or blogs.

Currently I maintain my company web site and own several blogs where I will posts regularly to update them. As long as you have the determination, you will not falter and give up easily. It takes time and effort to have a constant stream of repeat visitors and these are the people who will likely click on the advertiser’s links to generate some revenue for you. You also need to make your blog interesting with some pictures, personal notes, constant updates and stories to tell. I am blessed with a laptop to work in a cozy environment at my home office.

I just came back from a business trip recently and was busy with travelling that I did not have much time check on my blogs. Anyway, it is back to normal now and I was browsing the internet and came across this site boxhead 2 that you might like to join if you own a blog or several blogs. I am happy to say that I am still gainfully employed with the same company for 7 years already and the good part is that I work from a home office. Hence, I work in my pajamas. I also get to do some blogging for money paid through Adsense and another program of which I get checks every 2 months. I still need to work on my traffic but that means allocating some time to my blogs.

While I love to blog, I also need to be cautious not to disclose too much personal information that may be detrimental to myself. Hence, I have to strike a good balance with the contents so that they are not boring but at the same time, does not disclose too much personal information. Who knows, I might just engage someone to blog for me on a regular basis to write a certain topic. Revenue from Adsense is good if you have regular traffic.

I started using Google Adsense in 2006 and didn’t bother too much about it. About 1+ years later, I make my first USD100 for the contextual advertisement. It was exhilirating to be able to make that first USD100 which converts well here. Since then, there are many Adsense revenue sharing sites like YouSayToo which shares 50-50 of their revenue. So far, my adsense income is quite slow compared to other bloggers who are cashing out every month. For my case, it takes many months just to cash out the minimum of USD100. But to me, something is better than nothing at all. 2007 was a very good year to make money blogging. But in the last year, it was not as lucrative compared to the previous year. From my experience, there are a few ways to make money on the internet. One is to write articles and become a freelance writer. You can bid for the writing jobs online through various web sites. Do note that there are also dozens of other freelance writers bidding for the same job at very low rates or below market rate. But if the US dollar conversion rate is good, like 3.26 in my case in Malaysia, then it may be worth the time to bid for them. The other way to earn from the internet is through your blogs by writing sponsored reviews by signing with the many programs online. Craigslist is a useful web site with plenty of opportunities for you to earn some pocket money from the worldwide contacts.

I have made some decent part-time income from blogging in last year. They are mainly from PayPerPost.com but now it is getting more difficult to grab opportunities after the PR (Page Ranking) was slashed by Google. I am contented that prior to that, I have made more than USD5,000 by blogging at its peak for just slightly over a year. Then came Adsense which I put into 4 of my blogs and I have withdrawn money from Western Union as well for the first time this January 2008. It has been my endeavor to continue learning how to earn money by blogging and there is a very interesting article written here from Problogger.net. Hope it will spur and motivate you to continue to blog on a regular basis.

This morning, I am in a blogging mood. As there are many opps on PPP and other programs, I am taking the opportunity to snap them up. Is it not everyday that you have so many offers like today. I just check my VMI (Virtual Money Inc) account and RM1,606.83 has been banked in from my PayPal. This is money earned from blogging. I took up paid blogging from various programs such as PayPerPost, Sponsored Reviews, Blogsvertise, LoudLaunch, Smorty, Bloggerwave, etc. The income is not fixed, as some months there may be more opportunities while other months, there are hardly any opps to take up. It takes about 4-5 days for the money to be in my account after the transfer from PayPal. On average, each month, I get additional RM1,500 from paid blogging activities.

Fewer Opps

I love blogging especially paid blogging. But nowadays there are fewer opps as more blogs get registered and there is less opportunity to blog. When I log in every morning, I used to see the opps greyed out in PPP. Obviously they were released at night Malaysian time or in the wee hours of the morning at 2:00am while I am slumbering. I guess the top paying bloggers are also affected with the regional segmentation based on countries.
