I have been blogging for several years now since late 2006. It started off as a hobby initially and then ventured into money making opportunities from advertisements. To earn money from your site, you need to have decent traffic. You need to get down to the basics of getting higher traffic like using business web directory or business listing where some are paid while others are free of charge. Traffic is key to higher earnings and you cannot neglect this factor. Hence, blogging is now very much a part of my daily activities and I post regularly even while away on a business trip.
That is because I can blog anywhere as long as I bring along my laptop with internet connectivity. While on a business trip locally, I also lug around my broadband modem with the power cable so that I can check emails anytime of the day.
Sometimes I use Social media to promote my blogs. You also need to make use of business web directories for higher exposure so that you will get more visitors to your sites and this means potentially more money into your pockets. A business web directory is a site with many listings of the various business web sites where you can go and check them out. Business web directories are useful tools to get more visitors to your websites or blogs.
Currently I maintain my company web site and own several blogs where I will posts regularly to update them. As long as you have the determination, you will not falter and give up easily. It takes time and effort to have a constant stream of repeat visitors and these are the people who will likely click on the advertiser’s links to generate some revenue for you. You also need to make your blog interesting with some pictures, personal notes, constant updates and stories to tell. I am blessed with a laptop to work in a cozy environment at my home office.
