Scrubs for Hospital Personnel
I am now down with a very bad persistent allergic cough and went to a medical clinic yesterday. My house is full of dusts and my mom is a lady of leisure – watching tv every day and sleep the whole afternoon. She only cleans the house once a year and that is before Chinese New Year. So, sometimes, my youngest sister and I have to clean the dusty fan and remove cobwebs that hang around the house. The lady doctor who attended to me asked if I stay near construction area, which is far from it. Then only I discover she meant dusts from the surrounding areas that could cause my cough to persist for the last 4 months! I also noticed most of the staff were wearing medical scrubs at the clinic which also has a specialist unit.
The first thing they asked me was it I would like to see a specialist or a Medical Officer. So, I chose MO since the fees will be much cheaper compared to a specialist. The nursing staff also adorn mens scrubs or surgical scrubs while on duty. It makes them look more professional and cleaner too. I think, I am going to call it a day this morning and go to sleep after taking my medication that makes me drowsy.
