Fun Family Recipes
Guest post written by Steve Jacobs
This past weekend, it was extraordinarily cold outside and neither my wife nor I felt the pressing need to step foot out of our house. Fortunately, there wasn’t anything that really needed to be done and we had plenty of supplies. We decided to just stay inside and keep warm. We cuddled up on the couch and watched a bunch of old movies that came on the television. We made coffee and even took some time to do a little more cooking than we typically do. I showed my wife how to make a holiday-style dessert and how to make a few of my families favorite recipes. It was a really nice weekend to just stay inside and enjoy each other’s company.
In the new weekend, we have a lot of errands to do. I have to pick up a pair of Miracle Ear hearing aids, and my wife and I are going to visit our local travel agent to discuss our future retirement vacation. Sure, it will still be cold, but not quite as brutal as this past weekend. I can’t wait until my wife and I finalize our vacation plans and sneak away to someplace warm.
