I am looking around for DWG viewer for Windows Vista that I can download for free preferably so that I can print out the Autocad file sent by a client. It is a big file and I cannot use my laptop to view it and print out as I don’t have the software. Well, I might have to change to my desktop using Windows XP and later install Autocad Architectural Desktop 2004 which is quite tricky. It will take more than 20 minutes for complete install and later to be linked to HP printer for printing out the DWF format file. So much work just to view a file sent in by a big company to us. But this is part of my job requirements and since my company has sent me for an Autocad course a few years back, I should know how to handle this issue like using and editing the work using Autocad which are mainly used in civil engineering work and for draughting.
