In the 1970s, when I was still a kid, I used to collect used stamps and silver coin. I have a big collection now and they will make a handsome profit if I were to sell them at eBay or any other online auction sites. I also have the portrait of the late Princess Diana of Wales in one of my silver coins. My dad has also bought me a packet of coins from Europe during one of his trips there. So far, I have about 12 big stamp albums and a few boxes of repeat stamp designs. It will take a lot of effort to take photos of them one by one to sell them on eBay. One of these days, I might just sell at an offer price to a stamp and coin collector in one shot. Now they are taking up much space below my bed which has a storage area. I also have many old vintage Malaya stamps collected during my dad’s time. They are nice to look at once in a while and you tend to reminisce of the old times – times when you don’t have to worry about money and all the other stuffs that adults go through in life. It was a carefree happy-go-lucky life then as a kid.
