My dad was a successful insurance agent for Great Eastern and he has won the Round Table award selling a million dollars worth of insurance at that time. Natually I wanted to follow his footsteps but he has told me that it is not easy knocking on every door after work in Butterworth and making cold calls to strangers. And my dad was holding a full time job as a teacher. I am quite blessed with a job to work at home and therefore can nap anytime when there is a need. Every morning when I wake up, after breakfast, I will log on to the computer and internet to check for incoming mails and client enquiries to reply to them. This is what I do every day and in between when I need a rest from staring at the monitor, I will simply go upstairs for a short nap and turn on the air con. I dare not invest in the share market as my financial knowledge is too little to take too much risks. So I put most of my money into government bonds at 5% or sukuk and fixed deposits.
