I would like to take this month of Ramadhan to wish all my muslim friends Selamat Berpuasa. Last year, my church sold boxes of dates for us to buy and give them as gifts to our muslim friends but it is rather quiet this year. Last year we have bought 5 boxes of dates or kurma to give them to our Malay workers but they have all left the company since February 2009. It was a blessing in disguise that all of them left when we later found out that they have done their own things outside during working hours. Anyway, that aside, my second sister will go to the airport this evening for a flight back to Suchou. She has 8 weeks of holidays in a year as a lecturer in China but she really works hard as the assistant head of the English department.

Yesterday, I was looking for web sites that drop ship as this could be a new revenue generating step for me using my several blogs. I managed to chat with a staff from China who sells designer hand bags for a fraction of the cost. But, alas, there was no price list that was supposed to be sent to me, so I dropped the idea. Whatever it is, you can always go to certified web sites and buy online at the convenience of your home.

With safe and secure payment by credit card through the payment gateway, millions of people are buying things like luggages, bags or even designer handbags from the web site. That is why sites like eBay and Amazon have grown by leaps and bounds selling many stuffs online and making millions of profit each year. It is recession proof and the advent of the internet has taken the world by storm.

That is why it is so easy to buy online when we are busy with our schedules and it save us petrol and time from commuting to a shopping mall just to buy the things that we need. Online shopping is getting to be more popular these days with more and more young working adults joining the purchasing bandwagon. You can check out the links above and who knows, you might find something that suits you. I have bought a few things from the internet before and it really works. The ordered items were delivered right to my door steps. Now how easy can it get?

I was in KL yesterday and while waiting for a friend, I stood by and watch Nicol David won in 4 sets against Alison Waters, the 5th seeded in women’s squash. Nicol is ranked number 1 for the last 3 years consecutively. She will maintain her rankings for a very long time to come before running her own squash academy, her ambition. I was also given a free brochure on the CIMB Malaysia Open Squash 2009 at the Curve, a big shopping mall in Mutiara Damansara. Though I did not watch the all the sets, I knew Nicol has a big chance to win this match. The local crowd cheered her on. There were many other shoppers as well who watched for a while before continuing with their errands for the weekend on 1st August.
