I have been wearing eyeglasses since I was 10 years old until now. All member of my family including my parents plus 2 younger sisters also wear eyeglasses. Perhaps it is in our genes that we are all short sighted or myopic. Having worn them for so many years, I tend to choose that are made from titanium so that it is lighter and won’t put on much weight on my nose bridge. The titanium frames make the eyeglasses so light that sometimes you don’t feel that you are wearing eyeglasses at all. But is it also much more expensive to justify the lightness.

Eyeglasses are expensive. What if you could get quality eyeglasses on the cheap? Zenni Optical has revolutionized the eyeglasses industry with its unheard of cost effective pricing model: ZenniOptical.com sells Stylish Prescription Glasses Online from $8. You will find a huge selection of frames, with single vision lens, sunsensor (potochromic) lens, tinted sunglasses lens, bifocal lens and progressive lens. The Secret to our Low Prices is that we sell only our own manufactured frames direct to the customer, with no middlemen and virtually no advertising budget.

And this reminds me that in a few hours time, I will be travelling by car to Ipoh for a meeting and then Kuala Lumpur to meet up with another client with my colleague. With my eyeglasses, I am able to clearly view the palm oil plantations, rubber trees, hills and cascading waterfalls plus lime rock formation along the way on the North-South highway. I love travelling to KL as it is so relaxing just to see Mother nature in all its glory and all year round of sun in Malaysia.

Blog Pictures | acobox.com

Acobox.com helps bloggers make their blog posts sexy with nice images. The site is unique because it allows bloggers to insert image with just a click and Ctr-V, without downloading, resizing, and uploading images using Photoshop or other image editing software. You can even select the size of your images from 100px, 200px, 300px, 400px to 500px which is the biggest size for most blogs either using WordPress or Blogger. The image above here is from Acobox.com. You can sign up as a blogger or photographer in this nifty web site. This will certainly save me time from uploading images from my digital camera to computer and then processing them for upload to Flickr and then copying the links to my blog posts.

I will now use Acobox more often as they have many beautiful images that can be used for Free. All good things come in free packages. Some of the photos are touched up and look professionally done like the picture of a large red rose with shadows added according to the angle of the light – not your usual default shadow that is added for every image in Photoshop. You no longer have to buy expensive image editing software to touch up your digital photos anymore. I hope Acobox will be a successful company offering more free images with contributions from people the world over for a larger variety of selections.

They have many image categories like Abstract, Animals, Architecture, Arts Culture & Entertainment, Drawings & Maps, Earth & Space, Engineering & Technology, Landscapes, Monochrome, Panaroma, People, Plants, Urban and Other. This is a comprehensive repertoire of categories for any blogger to choose from. As they say, “A Picture is worth a thousand words.” Hence by adding such beautiful pictures to your blogs, it makes them stand out from ordinary, dull posts.

What do you do in your free time? As for me, I normally surf the internet and check emails online. For others, the use web-TV to watch www.partofthegame.tv on soccer and fan life. Most males would love to watch a game of soccer wherever they may be. It must be in their genes to be so enamored to sports and sports betting. I also love to dine occasionally and spend the weekends sleeping the whole day to catch up on rest.

From yesterday’s The Star newspaper report, about 30% of Malaysia’s affluent earn RM4,000 and above. Are you part of the 30%? With the economic doom and gloom and sub-prime crisis in USA with impending global recession, it heralds for austerity measures for the rich and poor alike. The rich will be affected in their potential earnings and drop of value in their shares or unit trusts while the poor will have to suffer by paying more for food and cost of living without any marginal increase in their income. Gone are the days where we can spend impromptu and without much thought. With so many banks in USA going bankrupt like Fanny Mae, Freddie Mac, Lehman Brothers, etc, we have to watch out for our hard-earned savings that are thankfully guaranteed 100% by the Malaysian government up to year 2010.
