I am still thinking the RM2,700 that I paid per person for the trip to Beijing in July. This is the amount quoted to me by a Reliance manager. There was another tour agent by In Touch which quoted only RM2,188 all inclusive of airport tax and other charges with 8 days tour of Beijing, ChenDe and Tianjing. If I were to cancel, they will forfeit my merchant account charges for the credit card plus admin fees. This will save me by about RM512 per person. If I were to multiply this by three, imagine the more than a thousand five hundred that I will save for the trip to Beijing.
