Just like Penang, Hawaii is surround by the sea. The only difference is that Hawaii consists of a group of idyllic islands and is a hot tourist spot. And Hawaii is rich in its local culture. The famous Hawaiian dance with local women wearing grass skirts sashaying their hips to the beat of drums welcomes visitors. And they are sparsely dressed with coconut husks covering both breasts for modesty’s sake. Also, these local women wear a garland of flowers like frangipennies round their necks. They really make use of Mother nature to cover themselves using dried grass as skirts, coconuts husks as bras and garlands of flowers as necklaces.

If you like to visit Hawaii one of these days, do check out the many types of rental homes for your trip. There are Kihei homes from HawaiianBeachRentals dot com with corresponding pictures and description of the place. Simply select your favorite choices and click on the Search button. There are so many activities to choose from such as wind surfing, swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing or just reading your favorite novel on the beach. I guess I am addicted to blogging especialy when there are juicy offers of pay to blog programs. Sometimes it is dry spell, other days, there are plenty of offers to take and you will be overwhelmed. It is nice to see income coming in via PayPal from the paid posts. Some of the offers give more payment while others are a minimum of USD5. It is also based on the PR of your web site and it is proportional to the offers. I have been blogging since July 2006 and it was only in middle of October that I began to take sponsored posts. I have not looked back since then and continue to generate part time income from blogging. And the money is in US dollars which converts to 3.4 rate in ringgits currently.

Last night, at about 10:00pm, the Firefly plane touched down Penang’s Bayan Lepas International Airport from Kota Bahru. It was a fruitful visit and we stayed in Sutera Inn family room for RM100 a night. When we went there, most of the hotels were full house like Renaissance Hotel and New Pacific Hotel. There was a big shot or someone important who visited Renaissance Hotel, the most classy hotel in Kelantan. We could see many huge police motorbikes accompany the big shot driven in a black S600 Mercedez Benz. Since there were so many policemen accompanying this important minister, we decided to try other hotels for more privacy and not having to avoid so many policemen. With the help of our first client, we managed to get the family room in Sutera Inn, a modest accomodation in Kota Bahru.

My favorite song from Hawaii is ‘Hawaiian Wedding Song’. I still recalled playing this song over and over again on the organ and this was my chosen one during the organ exam grade 6. And I got a merit for it. Hawaii is rich in culture and its people. When you arrive there, you will see pretty young local ladies wearing grass skirts sashaying their hips to the beat of the drums. And they wear colorful garlands of flowers round their necks with coconut husks to cover the breasts. It is a place for honeymooners and lovers alike. If you do plan to visit this spanking group of islands, check out Kailua ocean front condo rental from Hawaiian Beach Rentals dot com.

There are also blogs and news to read up prior to the travel in Hawaii Travel. Simply click on the link and you will be reading much needed information before the trip.

This morning, I faxed and emailed 3 different quotations for sports courts. They really keep me busy doing calculations and drawing the different sizes using the computer. These are enquiries over the weekend and last week which I was not able to submit as I was in KL. There are many repetitive calculations for different options for the client to choose from. Thank goodness, I was able to deliver and work fast to submit them on time. One of the client requested for a quotation for a different size the second time and I still need to oblige. I just hope he will eventually order from my company and this will turn to commissions for me.

My father has been to Hawaii and besides my second sister, all the rest of the family have not been there. Though I have been to USA before, I missed going to this place. Hawaii is basically a group of idyllic islands in the Pacific Ocean west of USA. I guess it must be similar to Penang, also an island. Other than the different culture and the local women wearing grass skirts sashaying their hips, all the rest are similar to Penang with plenty of Hawaii beach accomodations for you to choose from. The well known Hawaiian song ‘Aloha Oe’ welcomes visitors to these splendid islands.

There are plenty of activities such as scuba diving, windsurfing, sun-bathing, swimming in the beach, swimming pools and lagoons. Hawaii also has world class accommodations with a wide selection to choose from. When you plan your next vacation, don’t forget to make Hawaii as your destination. Furthermore, you can read up on this tourist spot in Hawaiian vacation news. It is good to check out on the interesting places of visit before your next visit to Hawaii.

As I blog here, in three hours time, I will take a domestic flight to Kelantan to see a futsal rubberized floor project that the company has there. All my expenses are paid for including the air flight and hotel accommodation. I still haven’t packed my bag yet. Still wondering what to bring and what pants to wear for the trip. And I pray for a safe journey there as the flight is 7:50pm in the evening departing from Penang’s Bayan Lepas Airport. My colleague will park his car in the air port for a day after fetching me and return the following day. It is a short trip requiring only an over night stay. There is nothing much to see in Kota Bahru as it is more of a retirement town and there are not much activities that you can do over there.

The recent Saturday and Sunday, I stayed in a town hotel for the weekend. Initially, we wanted to stay in a hotel in Bayan Lepas but both hotels were fully booked due to the Penang Bridge Marathon on Sunday, 24th June 2007. There were 21,000 participants locally and from Thailand, Singapore, USA and Kenya. This is my second time staying in this town hotel and we were lucky to get a room despite the marathon bookings. The pictures were snapped in my camera, but at the moment, I am too busy to load them to the web site. Some other time, perhaps.

Just a couple of days ago, PayPal emailed me with the following:

Dear Diana Tan,

Our review is complete and we have restored your account.

We appreciate your patience and thank you for your help in making PayPal
the safest and most trusted online payment solution.

Sincerely,
PayPal

I am relieved that my account access has been restored and I quickly transferred the accummulated monies of USD774 to my Virtual Money Inc debit card to withdraw about RM2,650 later on. It was the second time in a row that my PayPal account access was limited due to further withdrawals on my side. To confirm that it is me taking out my own money and not some fraudsters, Paypal immediately limited my account access. It was kind of a nuisance at first, but considering the precautions that they take when it comes to withdrawal, I guess I just have to be a little patient in this matter.

I have done many packings before when shifting out from the university campus to stay outside due to insufficient extra-curricular points to maintain my single room in Hall 3 of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. I recalled shifting at least 8 times in my four years of study there. Luckily, I managed to get some cardboard boxes left over from the drinks sellers and some which I kept for uses like these. It was quite comical to see a train of 8 young men plus myself shifting my stuffs out of the campus and down to the rented room just outside the campus. I had no choice but I needed help urgently to shift my stuffs and could not hesitate or feel shy asking for help. These students were mugging hard or doing tutorials when I knocked on their doors to ask for help in shifting out of my hostel. After a few weeks of staying outside, I manage to get back a room in the campus as the Singaporeans gals find the fourth floor of the girl’s block too hot for them, hence the high turnover and I got back a room in Hall 3.

Yesterday, I managed to successfully booked and confirmed our flight tickets to Pengkalan Chepa Airport in Kota Bahru, Kelantan from Penang’s Bayan Lepas Airport. I booked through Firefly, a new local domestic aircraft servicing different states in Malaysia. Firefly is the only local aircraft servicing direct flights from Penang to Kelantan. If I had booked via Air Asia or Malaysian Airlines, I will have to transit south in Kuala Lumpur and then fly north again to Kota Bahru, the capital of Kelantan. It was a last minute decision, and I booked 2 days before departure on Monday tomorrow at 7:50pm from Bayan Lepas Airport in Penang and arriving 1 hour later at 8:45pm in Pengkalan Chepa Airport in Kelantan.

As I will be staying overnight in Kelantan with my colleague, I shall be returning the following evening departing from Kelantan at 9:00pm and arriving in Penang’s Bayan Lepas airport at 10:00pm. This is a ticketless booking and all that is needed is a printed form showing the confirmation number, time and date of arrival and departure. The internet has certainly served its purpose allowing booking of flights online.
