I have done many packings before when shifting out from the university campus to stay outside due to insufficient extra-curricular points to maintain my single room in Hall 3 of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. I recalled shifting at least 8 times in my four years of study there. Luckily, I managed to get some cardboard boxes left over from the drinks sellers and some which I kept for uses like these. It was quite comical to see a train of 8 young men plus myself shifting my stuffs out of the campus and down to the rented room just outside the campus. I had no choice but I needed help urgently to shift my stuffs and could not hesitate or feel shy asking for help. These students were mugging hard or doing tutorials when I knocked on their doors to ask for help in shifting out of my hostel. After a few weeks of staying outside, I manage to get back a room in the campus as the Singaporeans gals find the fourth floor of the girl’s block too hot for them, hence the high turnover and I got back a room in Hall 3.
