I have managed to book online the trip for 2 to Genting Highlands from 21st to 23rd December 2007. And the room is in First World Hotel for RM344 for 2 nights’ stay. My initial plan was to spend our holidays over Christmas in Genting Highlands and I decided to make it a little earlier so that we can attend both functions. The amount for RM344 includes buffet breakfast and stay in the newly built Tower 2 of First World Hotel, the world’s largest hotel with over 6,000 rooms.
Genting Highlands is also the world’s tallest casino and located on a mountaintop. The air is continuously cold and windy. They don’t have to install air-cons as the fresh mountain air full of negative ions refreshes the mind and body. That is why I have to book early during the peak season, otherwise it will be fully booked and no more rooms left even though Genting Highlands has 5 hotels and a few apartment resorts. A few times of going to Genting Highland impromptu results in being turned away as all the rooms are fully booked and we had to stay in Awana Genting which is located midway to the mountains.

Yesterday, it was full house almost except for 4 vacant seats left for the 8:30pm show in QueensBay Mall in Penang for the debut opening of Transformers movie. I had no choice but to take the 2 seat right in the front row if I wanted to catch the 8:30pm show.
The movie lasted 2 and a half hours and it was fun just watching the tranformers changed to racing cars, trucks, planes, and other automobiles and vice versa. The graphics animation was superb and storyline interesting. Some parts it was just too fast in the action-packed movie. I love Optimus Prime, the leader of Autobots (photo above). The colours of bright blue and red reminds me of Superman and Spiderman. Somehow, I noticed that in most of the moview, the good guys wear the blue and red costume while the bad guys wear black with sharp fangs.
This is a show not to be missed and you will love the light-hearted moments. The part where one of the autobots urinated on some human being was funny. Imagine a robot urinating, just like humans and animals. In many way, the transformers are like human beings, with feelings and sensitivity. Bring your kids along to watch this stunning movie.
All of the Hawaiian Islands were formed by volcanoes arising from the sea floor from a magma source described in geological theory as a hotspot. Today, I hope to catch the Transformers debut opening on 28th June 2007 in Malaysia. If you are new to the world of Transformers, here is some information about the robots and popular terms to get you started.

MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP – A physical piece that Optimus wears inside his chest cavity. The Matrix of Leadership is the “crown” carried by each Prime…currently Optimus Prime.
MEGATRON – Leader of the Decepticons. Ruthless and cold, Megatron has only one goal, ultimate power and rule over the entire galaxy. Megatron’s very nature was ruthless from the beginning and he chose the name Decepticon to wear as homage to his deceit.
MINI-CONS – Small but powerful Tranformers, mini-cons communicate primarily through actions and sounds. The mini-cons are a peaceful, working race of the Transformers who have both partnered with the Autobots and been enslaved by the Decepticons. In the past, they have made strong bonds with human children, mostly due to their size.
OPTIMUS PRIME – Also called Optimus, he is the leader of the Autobots. Many years ago, the Matrix of Leadership “chose” him to be the next Prime, or leader. Malaysian Airlines System (MAS) has recently inked RM62 million deal to buy 20 turbo-propeller aircraft for its subsidiary, Firefly from an Italian based short-haul aeroplane manufacturer. The ART 72-500s aircraft was for the use of Firefly, which would soon go into its expansion phase. Firefly was formed earlier this year and is termed by MAS as a community-based airline with low-cost prices. At present, Firefly flies to 5 destinations from Penang, its base. The destinations include Kota Bahru, Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, Langkawi and Koh Samui. 2 days ago, I withdrew RM2,500 from my Virtual Money Inc debit card using Maybank’s ATM in Pengkalan Chepa Airport in Kota Bahru, Kelantan. I had to withdraw twice as the maximum one can take out each time is RM1,500. This RM2,500 amounts to USD735 in my PayPal. As I wasn’t sure whether the money is in already, I did a check which cost me USD5 on the ATM. I have already transfered the money 5 days ago via my PayPal to SouthWest checking account in USA. I can check online for free but at any ATM with Cirrus logo, it is chargeable. So for this money, the total blog money I have taken out is RM3,000 which is not bad for part time income.
