Parenting

I had the experience to do some ‘Parenting‘, babysitting my youngest sister when she was born. The age difference is 9 years as I am the eldest. I had to prepare porridge, cut up the vegetables and meat, cook them over slow fire and then put the porridge in a blender as my then baby sister was still toothless. Also I had to change her soiled nappies, put on new ones after powdering her up and cleaning up. Moreover, my second sister and I share the responsibility of hanging up baby’s laundry and folding up the dry ones. After feeding baby, we had to burb her. These are amongst some of the responsibilities we had as we baby sit our youngest sister at that time. From a few days old, she is now 28 years old and driving her own car to work while contributing to the family coffers just like the rest of us.
