Above is the room that I booked for my weekend stay in a hotel in town. Normally, I will go to a beach resort in Batu Feringghi, but this time I decided to try somewhere else for a change. The cost was RM240 per nite in the Pinnacle floor.

Here are the furnishings as seen from the bed. There is a cushioned chair on the right side beside the big windows. The tv, and writting desk and chair are next to each other.

This is the bathroom of the town hotel that we stayed. Free toiletries are supplied like soap, shower cap, razor for shaving, amongst others.

Here is a snap shot from the hotel window with a view of the sea. On the further right side is E & O Hotel. Many swiftlets were see flying around in this vicinity.

On the left side of the view from the window are many green trees that cover a Jewish cemetery. More hotels are in the background beside the beach.

Tomorrow I shall be in Kuala Lumpur with my colleague to inspect a completed site project before the handover in Subang Perdana. After the handover, then only the company will get the final payment when everything is ok. I am not sure how many days I will stay there, but most likely to be 1 night in the rented condominium in Subang. Then I will be back in Penang for a while before another trip to KL on the 6th of June to meet up with the supplier from New Zealand and a meeting with a potential client.

There are other projects still ongoing in KL and will take some weeks before completion. One worker has gone back to Kuching for 1 week as his grandfather has just passed away. The other 3 are still stationed in KL while the rest are working in Penang. I was the one who booked his air fare via Air Asia’s web site and paid with my credit card. It was very easy and I just sms him his booking number and that was sufficient to see him through to Kuching from Kuala Lumpur. In fact he has arrived yesterday in Kuching before it taked another day to arrive home to his long house where his family and relatives stay.

This cunning guy named ‘Jason Tan’ is a trickster! He created a very convincing web site called OnlyinMalaysiaMah.com and even advertised in Google Adwords. If you check out the web site, you will noticed that he included pictures of the Maybank money that he received a day plus ‘his’ PayPal account of money coming in so easily. What’s more? He must have put in fake photos of testimonials and people who have supposedly profited from buying his info product and learn from his secrets.

Since I have bought many info products before and have read and benefited them, I was taken in when I clicked on the Google Adwords advertisement in one of the blogs and went to his web site. This guy over promised and even offered to give ’60 hours of free consultation’ but after paying RM90 or USD26 through PayPal, nothing happens. He did not bother to email the link to download his digital information. This guy is a fake. Don’t ever buy from this web site or be taken in by empty promises.

To me, RM90 can be recovered quickly but for those honest hardworking people, even at an executive level, RM60 is a 9-5 hour job toiling in the office. I don’t know how many people this guy has cheated from his very elaborate and well written web site to con the surfers of their monies. As I have paid by PayPal, I waited for a while before realizing that I have been conned into buying his non-existent info product. He shows pictures of a Mercedes CLK that ‘he owns’, and his Perdana Damansara condominium, supposed bought at 600k and lies of travelling overseas with not 1 but 2 girlfriends. I should have been more cautious as this sounded too good to be true.

So folks, learn from my mistake. Don’t be easily taken in by over promises and pictures of monies rolling into the PayPal account. The pictures can be touched up easily and doctored to look like his own using software. Even the fake testimonials with photos of people who benefited from his program can be easily put together to look convincing and real. And this guy is smart. He used PayPal to accept payment because you cannot request for a chargeback unlike merchant accounts. And he even promised money back guarantee if you are not making money and get to keep his materials. So, I might as well forget about getting back my RM90 and bid farewell to it.

top 10 wealthiest malaysians
In just 1 year, Malaysia’s 40 richest business people increased their collective worth by a whopping 65 per cent to US$43 billion (RM147 billion) from US$26 billion last year. Forbes Asia’s 2007 listing of the country’s wealthiest had 8 newcomers, including Datuk Mokhzani Mahathir with wealth worth US$220 million.

Mokhzani’s F1 “rival” property tycoon Ong Beng Seng, who lives in Singapore and the man who sealed a Formula One spot for the republic, not only made it to the list but is also the richest newcomer with wealth of US$580 million. Mokhzani is chairman of Sepang International Circuit, the venue of the Malaysian Grand Prix. Mokhzani is at No. 28 in the list while Ong is at 12.

Sugar King Tan Sri Robert Kwok Hock Nien, 84, remains Malaysia’s richest, worth US$7.6 billion, up from US$5.6 billion last year, Forbes said.

As a kid, I loved to dress up dolls and make believe that they are my kids. I have even traced clothes on the doll’s profile and design many colorful types of clothes for the paper dolls. As I grew older, I even sewed little clothes for the dolls from rags and pieces of unwanted cloths. If you love to dress up dolls, there is a virtual dress up doll web site from Cartoondollemporium.com. This web site is the number one dress up website online and receives over 3 million unique visitors each month. It gives kids the opportunity to dress up celebrities like Beyonce, Leonardo Dicaprio, and Kelly Clarkson, politicians such as Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton, and all sorts of fairy tale characters.

Last night, I managed to withdraw another RM600 from my SouthWest Bank checking account using my Virtual Money Inc (VMI) card that I got recently. This time, I tried to withdraw using Public Bank’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM) with the Cirrus logo. And I was pleased to see the cash coming out from the ATM. So it really works for any ATM with the Cirrus logo.

When I had my now defunct Accent card initially, I could only withdraw from Bank Bumiputra or CIMB as it is now known as. Even though the terms stated that I could withdraw from any ATM with the Cirrus logo, I could not take out my cash from Maybank’s ATM though it had the Cirrus logo on it. And I could only withdraw my money using the defunct Accent card using CIMB’s ATM in University Science Malaysia.

So, if you still need to get your friends to withdraw the money for you using Paypal, my suggestion is to get a VMI card so that you can withdraw it yourself and don’t have to accept a lower exchange rate from the money laundering services. Even a difference of 0.2% lower rate can mean hundreds of dollars go into the middleman’s pocket and not your own if you are earning thousands a month. For example, if you earn RM4,000 a month in your PayPal, a 0.2% can mean RM800 less in your bank account and this money is channeled to be paid for the transfer services.

This makes a total of RM3,600 withdrawn using my new VMI card, as I have taken out RM3,000 just a few days ago. Do note that however, you need to have at least USD10 in your account and another USD2.70 for monthly charges with is quite reasonable to maintain the VMI card.

Baby bird with egg cracked
The photo above shows a just hatched baby bird and its sibling still in the egg. Notice that the egg has cracked in halves.

Baby bird with feathers
The sole surviving baby bird now has feathers on its otherwise bald pink skin patch. Its other sibling that hatch from its egg later fell off the nest and died shortly after.

Almost adult baby bird
The bird is almost full size now and ready to take off. It is perching on the edge of its nest and has been flapping its wings many times. Took about 2 weeks from the laid egg to this almost mature size.

Have you ever considered going for a tummy tuck? After pregnancy, weight loss or aging, many people find themselves with excess skin and fat around the belly with decreased strength and tone of the muscles beneath. Abdominoplasty or “Los Angeles tummy tuck” addresses these problems for both women and men.

The result is improved body contour and a smoother shape to the abdomen. During the California tummy tuck surgery, an incision is made within the “bikini” or “boxer” line under the abdomen; this helps to hide the scar following the procedure. Excess skin and fat are removed, the muscle beneath is tightened, the skin is re-draped to provide a pleasing body shape, and often the belly button is moved to a new position within the newly contoured abdomen.

Tummy tuck removes the unsightly pot belly and excess fat around the abdomen. If you love food just like I do, make sure you don’t have too much excess fat in your belly. Having said that, I guess I need to eat less. Otherwise obesity sets in and the sexy curves are replaced with unwanted fat around the abdomen.

Remember the previous post that I mentioned about a pair of yellow breasted birds built a nest in my bathroom? Well the only surviving baby bird has finally left its nest after the egg hatched since 1 week ago. There were 2 eggs laid but the younger birdling apparently fell from its nest and died leaving its older sibling grabbing food all to itself. Since last night, I noticed the lone surviving bird perched on the edge of its nest ready to take off while frantically flapping its wings. Well during lunch time, the baby bird disappeared from its nest and I guess it has to defend itself in the wild now.

There are many types of window blinds from guaranteedblinds.com. The various varieties include window blind & shade products such as wood blinds, faux wood blinds, mini blinds, and vertical blinds. Their window shades includes roman shades, cellular shades, pleated shades, roller shades, and woven wood bamboo shades.

I still recalled using window blinds in my hostel in NTU which was sky blue in color. At the turn of the switch, the blinds will either flip vertically up or horizontally down. It was much easier than drawing curtains and very effective to block the rays of the sun. Since the blinds are opaque, the sun light is completely cut off unlike curtains which may allow some light to pass through.

Window blinds are the choice of use in the office compared to curtains. They make the ambience of the office look more professional and cut off the rays of the sun completely. They are also easy to maintain compared to curtains. Just use a damp cloth to wipe and clean away the dust.

It was reported by Reuters that the male impotence drug Viagra may be useful for tresting jet lag as well, according to Argentine researchers who gave it to hamsters made to feel like rodent globe-trotters. The researchers manipulated the schedule of turning lights on and off to induce jet lag in the animal laboratory.

Adule male hamsters given Viagra, also called sildenafil, recovered from jet lag up to 50% faster than hamsters that were not given it. The scientists stopped giving the hamsters the highest dose they had been using in the experiment due to a certain side effect. “However, we used the intermediate dose for the rest of the experiments because at that dose animals did not manifest the effect of penile erections,” they wrote.

Flying across multiple time zones can confuse one’s sleep-wake cycle, resulting in the condition called jet lag, marked by insomnia, sleepiness and difficulty concentrating. They judged how well the hamsters adjusted to the changes by observing when they began running on exercise wheels. The findings suggested that Viagra could be useful to help people cope with jet lag or shift work.

2 days ago, on a tuesday was Granny’s 7th day death anniversary. The non-Christian members of the family bought 6 sets of fruits and flowers for granny and prayed for her. The female Buddhist monk came at around 10:30 and chanted prayers for the departed souls every day. There were booklets to follow the prayers in Mandarin characters and Chinese Han Yu PinYin. Granny’s ashes were placed in an urn and then put into the columbarium in Air Itam. It is a very peaceful place with green hills of the Penang Hill nearby. The air was fresh and cool. The urn was placed next to her sister-in-law’s urn whom I used to call “Kor Po”. She died about 16 years ago and imagine how time flies. The location was specially chosen by granny when she was much younger. Granny lived to a ripe old age of 93 and I still pray that she will find rest and peace in the life-after-death.

Breast augmentation, technically known as augmentation mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure to enhance the size and shape of a woman’s breast for a number of reasons:

• To enhance the body contour of a woman who, for personal reasons, feels her breast size is too small.
• To restore breast volume lost due to weight loss or following pregnancy
• To achieve better symmetry when breasts are moderately disproportionate in size and shape
• To improve the shape of breasts that are sagging or have lost firmness, often used with a breast lift procedure
• To provide the foundation of a breast contour when a breast has been removed or disfigured by surgery to treat breast cancer
• To improve breast appearance or create the appearance of a breast that is missing or disfigured due to trauma, heredity, or congenital abnormalities

By inserting an implant behind each breast, surgeons are able to increase a woman’s bustline by one or more bra cup sizes. If you’re considering Los Angeles breast augmentation, this will give you a basic understanding of the procedure—when it can help, how it’s performed, and what results you can expect. It can’t answer all of your questions, since a lot depends on your individual circumstances.

Beverly Hills breast augmentation can enhance your appearance and your self-confidence, but it won’t necessarily change your looks to match your ideal, or cause other people to treat you differently. Before you decide to have surgery, think carefully about your expectations and discuss them with your surgeon. So if you are considering breast augmentation, why not check out the links above.
