The photo above was taken in my garden or rather my parents’ one showing a small yellow breasted bird has made its nest in our garden hedge and laid an egg. I am waiting for the egg to hatch in a few days’ time and capture photos of the baby bird. By the way, this is the second time the same pair of birds have make their nests in the same spot but the last time when they built their nest, the 2 birdlings were probably devoured by a cat. I hope this time the little bird will be luckier.

Bernard: yes, I hope so too…maybe when the baby bird is a little larger, I might just bring it into the house during at night and put it back to its nest in the day time for feeding…The last 2 baby birds disappeared one at a time during the night and the culprit, a stray cat probably had a good dinner.
