
Flower crabs and more flower crabs. This photo was taken in The Cafe buffet spread laid on the table with crushed ice on a platter with satin covered table. The shells of the flower crabs are softer than black river crabs and easier to de-shell. And they taste just as good.

Don’t the photo above look tantalizing? Here’s my selection of the buffet of chrome yellow mango pudding, sky blue local dessert (“kuih”), chocolate fondue and cakes. Since I took a bit of almost everything, I share this platter with my sister to cut down on the calories.
