My Dad the Catholic Church Photographer
These are some of the photos I dad took as a church photographer for Penang’s Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. I had to search them out in my computer. The Priest can be seen walking toward the church, leading his church members of a procession. My dad is very active in the church holding a few portfolios like being the church photographer, a lector to read out Sunday’s readings, in the CEC committee, sells stationary in the Catholic church bookstore, usher, amongst others. He and my mum also volunteers in Little Sisters of the Poor, to help the lonely aged play lotto for recreation and help drive the van to bring them out for major functions or charity dinners. He is slowly giving up some of his responsibilities to the younger people and still remains a church photographer, his passion.
It was Palm Sunday, as you can see the people holding palm fronds in this photo.
