This morning my second sister announced that she will get a preliminary interview via phone conferencing this coming Saturday in the morning from Hong Kong University. Well, I did mention earlier that she wanted to study pHd either in the US or UK for another 4-5 years and was prepared to borrow money. Well, here’s the good news. She has also applied for a lecturer post in Hong Kong University to teach English for their new campus in Suzhou, China. Suzhou is near to Shanghai. It has always been my sister’s dream to lecture in a university and that’s why she wanted to take up pHd for this reason. I hope and pray that she will be successful in the interview. I guess Hong Kong University also accept people like my sister with a Masters degree in English Literature from National University of Singapore.
