Some Verses from Psalms 90

Below are some of my favorite verses from Psalms 90, the only chapter written by Moses while the rest of Psalms were written by King David.

  • 1. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
  • 2. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting thou art God.
  • 14. Satisfy us in the morning with thy steadfast love that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. 16. Let thy work be manifest to thy servants, and thy glorious power to their children.
  • 17. Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish thou the work of our hands upon us, yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
  • Verse 17 is particular interesting. It says let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us and establish the work of your hands. When we have God’s favor, all our work and efforts will not be in vain. We will find favor with our boss, our colleagues, our families and the people we meet every day. Even we will find favor with our clients and they like to deal with us instead of other companies.
