Working from home has its pros and cons. While the benefits are many, the disadvantage is that one has to be very disciplined to carry out the tasks assigned on a daily basis. Sometimes when I spend too much time by the computer, I take in between naps of about 20 minutes. I also need to prioritize which tasks need immediate attention and try to get it done soon. Sometimes my company clients phone or email for answers. And we need to be courteous as much as possible. While there is no disturbance from fellow colleagues, I find most of the time I am busy by the computer. I guess I am a workaholic and don’t stay idle for long. Maybe because of my strict upbringing and the struggles of my caregivers to bring back bacon, I am compelled to work diligently and contribute to their coffers as they are now retired, especially my parents and granny.
