About Bonia – Malaysian Brand

I have a brown Bonia handbag and my mother jokingly called me “tycoon” and I say “Amen” to that, which means so be it. Well, though I am not a tycoon, I hope to be one some day if possible. The Bible in the book of Proverbs says that you will have whatever you say, and if you say positive things, you will experience positive results and vice versa.

Here’s some information about this company and brand which originated from Malaysia. The designs and material is from Italy and it is like the lower end of the supreme Louis Voutton or LV.

Bonia Corporation Berhad, through its subsidiary companies is involved in the designing, manufacturing, marketing and retailing of fashionable leather goods for local and overseas markets. The principal lines are leatherwear, footwear and menswear under the brand names Bonia, Bonia Uomo, Carlo Rino and Sembonia.

In June 1993, the company acquired the license to manufacture and distribute the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club leatherwear for the territory of Singapore and Malaysia. The product lines were later expanded to include Bonia Carlo Rino timepieces and Bonia eyewear.
