SeaFood ‘Bee Hoon’ in Bayan Lepas

Just recently I went to sort of a ramshakle place along the road to the Air port in Penang in Bayan Lepas for seafood ‘bee hoon’ or strands of thin white noodles, for my foreign folks reading this.
You may proceed to the stall to choose the seafood that you want such as fishballs, slices of fresh fish, fried fish, big tiger prawns, quails’ eggs, flower crabs and even ‘paddy chicken’ or frog’s legs. I don’t fancy frog’s legs, so I chose my usual ingredients of a tiger prawn (I love prawns), fresh slices of fish, fish balls and quails’ eggs. Finally complete it with ‘bee hoon’. The cooking was surprisingly fast as this little seafood hut is always crowded with staff from the nearby factories of Intel, Agilent, Motorola, etc in Bayan Lepas dining in this hut which is rather well-known.
My boss ordered almost the same ingredients but top it off with yellow noodles instead of ‘bee hoon’. They also sell ‘ang-ku’ or yellow bean paste in red or green batter and toast with half-boiled eggs. There is a nearby stall of satay (marinated chicken in sticks and barbequed on charcoal) and another stall selling rojak (fruit salad with prawn paste) and wrapped salted chicken.
