Taken from September issue of Cleo magazine, there are useful tips on removing stains and other kitchen maintenance.

  • WD-40 removes the stickers you once put on your bedroom door and keeps them shiny. The oily film makes subsequent cleaning easier.
  • Remove crayon marks off walls by scrubbing with toothpaste, while white bread can dab away finger marks on walls.
  • Lemon juice removes garlic or onion odours from a chopping board.
  • Use banana skin to polish plant leaves. It’ll pick up dust and provide a shiny film on leaves.
  • White vinegar gives sparkle to mirrors, glassware and windows and makes lime scale disappear.
