The Ant Bully

Lucas Nickle (Zach Tyler), is a young, misunderstood by his parents, boy who is constantly picked on by the local bully and his gang who enjoy dog-piling on top of him. Naturally, he takes his anger out on the ant hill in his front yard. One day, a grotesque exterminator, Stan (Paul Giamatti) proposes to put an end to the insect problem in the yard within days and Lucas signs. The ants inside are becoming increasingly devastated, and the ant wizard, Zoc (Nicholas Cage), proposes a solution with a potion. He sneaks into Lucas’ room while he’s sleeping and shrinks him down to ant size to have him work of the damage he’s done and to learn his lesson.
Zoc’s girlfriend, Hova (Julia Roberts) leads him around the inside of the tunnels with a caring heart. Lucas learns about the lifestyle of the ants, and their fear of the wasps. He later recalls that he instructed the exterminator to destroy them all and must put an end to it before it’s too late.
This movie is about teamwork and not to be a ‘prima donna’ or to bully someone smaller your size or raining ‘yellow water’ on the ants’ hill. A very enjoyable show.
